Senior editor, Wix
I lead Shaping Design, Wix's premiere publication for design professionals. I cultivate, manage, and edit a team of junior editors and writers, as well as freelance writers and designers.
I lead pitch meetings, create and analyze traffic reports, and develop and manage the content calendar. I write the newsletter and manage its production.
I lead teams across departments, including inbound and outbound marketing, social, and newsletters to determine blog coverage and strategy across platforms to create compelling, content professionals want to read.
Associate editor, Fast Company
I reported and filed daily stories on the businesses applying design to products, communities, workplaces, and government for an audience of hundreds of thousands.
Areas of coverage spanned breaking news, advertising and branding, graphic design, industrial design, web design, ux/ui, fashion, landscape design, architecture, and more.
I reported over 400 stories that were consistently in the news org’s top ten, with sources from the White House, New York Times, CIA, Apple, Google, + major design agencies like Pentagram, Collins, and Wolf Ollins.
Editor, Design Observer
I edited, assigned, and managed writers; created and analyzed traffic reports; maintained SEO best practices; managed social media (900k+ followers) for live events.
I pitched and wrote feature stories for renowned blogs Design Observer and Eye on Design; executed original series, for which I interviewed over 50 c-suite execs and design legends.
I managed calendar and newsletter production; ensuring cohesive workflow and brand voice.
Content marketing manager, AIGA
I managed workflow and guided creative and copy for all marketing and comm needs, including email (200k+audience lists), social (1M+ followers combined), web, and collateral.
I liaised between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure cohesive operational communication; schedule, scope, and resources are enforced; and that deliverables are met.
I managed and executed original content that amplifies brand objectives, ie., AIGA Medal series.
